<![CDATA[Anna Saves Them All?]]>Sat, 23 Sep 2017 13:32:40 GMThttp://lloydgreen.org/blog/anna-saves-them-allPicture
I've just finished reading a short story by Seth Dickinson called Anna Saves Them All and I was totally blown away. What would you do if you found yourself trapped by an alien being that was hell-bend on destroying all of humanity? Could you find the right words to save everyone on Earth, including yourself?

Anna has thrown herself into this situation with only a short time to find the shocking solution.

Seth Dickinson's entertaining short story pulls you into Anna's sense of dread as her uncomfortable past and our uncertain future hangs in the balance. This great tale is storytelling at it's best.

Anna Saves Them All is published through Shimmer Magazine

Journal Entry #5

I was going to write that I had just a few chapters left in order to finish my latest novella, Beyond the Castle on the Hill but my story of the teenage scientist of the future will have to wait a while. I received word that some revisions were necessary prior to publishing my original story, Castle on the Hill: Secrets. Since the story that I’m putting together is a sequel, revisions to the first book will cause me to change some things in the second. The suggestions that were made are good ones and will make the storyline run more smoothly. Anyway, with any luck, the rewrites will be completed within a month or two.

Also, with the help of architectural design software, I’ve actually built 3-D versions of rooms in the High School for Dimensional Arts. It’s one thing to imagine what those areas look like but another to actually move around in the rooms, just as the characters do in the book(s). I find that it makes what I’m writing a lot more realistic. Example: The first picture is of classroom number 175, along with its mind-over-matter Conceptual Chairs and screened in workstations.
The second, third and fourth are the Balcony Studio room where group projects are performed. That’s why there are three Conceptual Chairs and three sets of Cognition Control Panels against the walls.
See you again during the next update.

<![CDATA[Book Review - The Communication Room]]>Fri, 01 Sep 2017 16:16:54 GMThttp://lloydgreen.org/blog/book-review-the-communication-roomPicture
What would you do if you were forced by a enraged madman into a constricted room?

Fearing for his life, Leonard Ackerman is confronted with communication devices, old and new. As each phone rings, he helplessly realizes that the decisions he must make not only could save his own life could determine the future of humanity.

Author, Adam Aresty, pulls at your curiosity, drawing you more and more into the desperate room as the main character forces himself decipher the mystery of The Communication Room.

I could not put the book down. Very well written. Great ending. Five stars.
